Description
Escape to the Everglades with your very own Florida Master Naturalist Guide. Get outside with your family and get to know the REAL and NATURAL South Florida. Visit with the alligators, enjoy the beautiful artwork of Clyde Butcher, hike in the Big Cypress, play games, learn about the ecosystem, and HAVE FUN.
The trip will be caravan style. We will meet at Shark Valley in Everglades National Park at 10am , take a hike, and then move on to Clyde Butcher's Gallery, then have lunch at the Oasis Visitor Center, and then take a leisurely and scenic hike into a Cypress Dome in Big Cypress National Preserve. The tour will end around 3:30.
Christy Schultz, The Nature Teacher, is a Certified Florida Master Naturalist, a teacher with years of Environmental Education experience, and a bonified nature lover. She will teach you all about South Florida's natural beauty. Go to thenatureteacher.com for more details. The cost is $20 per adult and $12 and under for children. There is a separate cost of $10 for the National Park.
