Unique and Educational  Nature Programs for Homeschoolers

 

ECO-Every Child Outside offers you, the homeschooling family or group, an opportunity to enrich your studies through nature exploration with the ECO-Explorers Homeschool Program. 

By joining the Homeschool ECO-Explorers you will strengthen your curriculum through Nature Study;  subjects, such as: Science, History, Language Arts, Math, Art, Music, and Physical Education are reinforced through activities and play. 

The classes offer a set time each week to go outside with your family and/or group to exercise, breathe fresh air, learn about local plants and animals, develop a Sense of Place by knowing the natural history of your area, and to meet other homeschooling families.Each week, the ECO-Explorers visit a different natural area or park in Broward, Miami-Dade or Palm Beach County.   The class includes a nature walk and talk, games, activities, stories, as well as pre- and post- study information;  a theme is assigned to each class (interdependence, nature appreciation, food webs, habitats, etc). 

The Nature Teacher is now offering the Homeschool ECO-Explorers Nature Appreciation Class - focuses on different natural areas and parks in Broward, North Dade, and South Palm Beach Counties, with the option to go out of the county on Nature Family Field Trip adventures.

The Nature Teacher also offers a preschool-aged (0-5) weekly adventure and a pre-teen (tweens, 10-13) aged weekly class/hiking group.

Join in one of the ongoing classes or inquire about planning a new class just for your group, The Nature Teacher also provides weekly classes for some local schools and will do the same for your school or group.  Classes, workshops, and outings may be designed and customized to fit the needs and desires of your family or group.

Through outdoor play and exploration, children gain self-confidence, a sense of wonder and a healthy curiosity about the world around them.
