Paddle the Preserves!

Discover the beauty of the bay and the urban wilderness that surrounds us as we paddle throughout the Biscayne Bay Aquatic Preserves. Learn the importance of the Biscayne Bay ecosystems and the life that lives within. Get to know where you live as you enjoy the wildness of dolphins, birds, manatees, rays, fish and more!
This event is the first installment of the “Paddling the Preserves” series of sunset eco tours exploring the Biscayne Bay Aquatic Preserves (BBAP). These guided eco tours will be led, alongside iPaddle Miami, by Christy Schultz, The Nature Teacher, BBAP Naturalist &Eco Tour Coordinator.
In this part of the series, we invite you to paddle with us from Pelican Harbor Marina north through the preserves to Tern Island.
As a guest you can:
- … bring your own paddle craft OR rent your choice of kayak or stand-up paddleboard from iPaddle Miami.
- … discover the beauty of the bay and the urban wilderness that surrounds us.
- … learn more about Biscayne Bay’s ecosystems and the life that lives within them.

We will return to Pelican Harbor just before sunset.
