Winter Break is almost here! It is time to register your curious children – age 6-12, for a week of marine studies and bay discoveries. January 2-5, 2018, 9am-3:30pm. FOLLOW THIS LINK TO SIGN UP! SPACE IS LIMITED!
Bayologist Camp is a fun-filled club exclusively for kids! For four weeks of the year, the BBAP Bayologists discover, learn and play. This marine-focused camp is full of enriching activities, science experiments, ecology games, nature art and exploration. Campers discover the wonders of Biscayne Bay and the amazing animals and plants living within. Each week of camp includes shore-searching with nets, bird-watching and identifying, bay boat cruises, bay paddling, guest speakers and more! Every camper learns how to protect and preserve Biscayne Bay, and after attending three seasons of camp, becomes a “Junior Bayologist” – gaining a certificate and a photo with a BBAP marine biologist.
BBAP Bayologist Camp happens one week in winter, one week in spring and two weeks in summer for adventurous kids, ages 6-12.
2018 dates: January 2-5; March 26-30; June 11-15 & 18-22. Stay tuned to learn more about a possible third mini-week just for older kids with an interest in marine science – June 26-28. Camp is in session on weekdays from 9am-3:30pm. Bayologist Camp happens at the Pelican Harbor Marina (1275 NE 79th Street, Miami, FL 33138). We utilize both indoor and outdoor camp classrooms. BBAP’s Eco Education program offers a variety of ways for you to get out on the bay, year-round. Inquire now about setting up an Eco Experience for your organization, group, school or family.
